Love in a Bowl recently hosted Mensch Mitzvah Day, a wonderful event that brought together volunteers from various backgrounds.
Our goal was to create a farm to table experience and memorable day for some of the kids of IY, and with the help of dedicated individuals, we achieved just that.
Enthusiastic volunteers harvested fresh produce from our farm, and together, we prepared a cook-up that fed over 200 people. Thank you Sasha and his crew from Habonim Who added to the excitement by hosting a fun space for the kids on the farm.
Hosting Mensch Mitzvah Day showcased the essence of love, kindness, and compassion, as volunteers united for a common cause. The impact of this event will be felt for a long time, both in the hearts of the children and in the memories and bonds formed among the volunteers. We are grateful to everyone who participated in making this day a resounding success, proving that love knows no boundaries and that together, we can make a positive difference in the lives of others.
