Happy eggs represents a collective of Free range and pasture reared farms across the Western Cape and we only align ourselves with farmers that implement the friendliest and most caring of animals for their hens. Our farmer feeds his chickens a specially formulated diet of locally sourced mixed grains, and they are also left to forage outside for 4-6 hours per day where they peck on bugs and flowers and all kinds of natural healthy foods that make their yolks a dark rich yellow Ochre colour .
